Wed
Striped bass from Race Pt beaches this morning on tins/metal.
Good sized bass from the boats.
Tuesday
Blues last night at Race Pt, 20 pound striped bass at the Race this morning, at first light, as well as some more blues.
Head of the Meadow had blues this morning.
Our charters yesterday and today - bass up to 25 pounds.
Monday Aug 25
A few keepers off Race Pt this morning, along with some blues.
Boats were still relatively slow, but just got in from a charter and we got 8 keepers, 7 of which were over 34 inches.
Tuesday
John from the shop got into big bass from the beaches last night, he had to walk a way's but they were there all night, in the 20 pound range on needlefish.
Sat Aug 16
Blitzing blues on the beaches, some bass in the early morning.
Good bass, mostly 30 inch plus/minus and some bigger ones, off the boats.
Wed Aug 13
At last, some bass from the beaches at Race Pt. - need to get up early, first light, but some bass being taken. Once the sun comes up they leave and the blues replace them.
Bass still from the boats at Wood End and Herring Cove lobster pot line, as well as the Race Pt rips.
Schoolie tuna heating up real well.
Friday Aug 8
Big bluefish blitz's on Race Pt beach, mornings and evenings.
Big bass on the boats down the backside, Peaked Hill, etc., alot of 30 inch keepers in other spots as well.

Wed August 6
More of the same - primarily bluefish off the beaches, unless you have a kayak and then bass are within your reach.
Boats are still doing fine with ton's of blues, as well as enough bass to keep you happy. Have to search for the bass, but they are there.
Schoolie bluefin tuna bite heating up, as are the giants.
Monday Aug 4
Still blues from beach, very few bass.
Boats getting plenty of bass and blues.
Small tuna off of Peaked Hill.
Sat Aug 2
Blues off the baeches, some bass.
Boats still getting keepers.
Some small tuna being seen, one or two caught.
Wed July 30
Still blues from the beaches, occasional bass, mostly shorts.
Kayakers doing well off of Race Pt and Herring Cove.
Morning for the boats the best, limiting out on our charters most days, but you have to look for them, Mid day tougher, but some keepers and blues.
New Location
We have opened a second location - Nelson's "Too" - in Truro, at the site of the former Pamet Bait and Tackle, Highland Farms Veggie Market Complex at 300 RT. 6. Weekend hours until mid-June, then 7 days a week.
Having a real big sale at both shops to reduce our overstocks - too many things to mention, but most rods 10% to 25% off, reels, 15%, some real good lures that don't sell here but do elsewhere - 1/3 to 1/2 off (Gibb's Tattoo), and a whole bunch of "stuff" at 50% off.
